Meet Faith

"I am so excited for you to be a part of this blog. As a successful business owner and mother of two, I didn’t see my life taking the major left turn that it did. While going through a very painful divorce last year, I realized many things that changed my outlook on my circumstances. Through it all I continually have to remember that God is still ultimately in control and every step and every move we make affects the path we have to walk to get to the end of our journey.

As I have walked through my own hurt, the book of Exodus has stood out to me and been on my heart time and time again. The Israelites felt pain that was both physical and spiritual and they battled to protect both.  The struggles and hurt the Israelites faced aren’t exactly like the ones we face in the comforts of America, but spiritually, the devil has the same goal. To crush you and to keep you from being effective for Christ.

Please know that I in no way believe that I have this all figured out! Every day, I feel like I both learn and fail as I try to understand. But I do know one thing for sure…

… And this is why I write...

I know that we all are struggling with something. Everyone is either headed into the desert, wandering around in it lost and alone, or are walking out of it. My hope is to encourage you in whatever stage you are in. To inspire you to be more than what you believe this life is allowing you to be!

As women, we are so easily crushed by our hurts, but that is not what God has for you. There is a promise land and God’s desire has always been for you to end up there. But there is a desert that is before it, and you are going to spend time in it.

But you don’t have to stay there!

It is time for women to be bold, to make a stand against the hurts that threaten to control us, and to become a warrior in the spiritual battle that rages against us. It is time to understand our hurt and use it for good. It is time to move forward rather than sitting in the desert. It’s time for an Exodus!"
